Melissa was working at the hospital. So I drove over when her shift ended, and we were able to visit little Evelyn when she was only about 12 hours old. 
Doug, Gail, Cindy, James, Charissa, and Derek were also there to share the joy. Evelyn seems healthy (8lb 1oz, 21in), and it sounds like everything went very well. We're very happy for them, and look forward to watching Evelyn grow up.
