Steensma Christmas

Christmas this year was held at mom and dad Schaaf’s house. The whole group except for Tom and Jane and family were there. After a few appetizers dinner was served. The party then moved down basement where mom Schaaf gave a lesson about baby Jesus. Following that, presents were enthusiastically opened – except for grandpa who took the opportunity to tell a story before each opening. Eve (3) and Angela (2) were intently playing Legos when Melissa asked them to smile for a picture. Eve willingly turned and smiled (as expected), but Angela politely replied, “No, I can’t right now, I’m sorry” and continued playing. The children went off to play with their toys, while the big kids played a round of Carcassonne. Finally, a viewing of the amazing supertubing video was held which left every last viewer in complete awe.
