On Dec 10-11 the girls from work and I went to Chicago to see the musical Wicked at the oriental theatre. We left a blizzard in GR and drove to Michigan City, then took the train downtown. Taking the train was a great idea b/c we missed all the hectic traffic in the city and saved some $$ on parking. We slept at a hotel down Michigan Ave. Friday night we went to Giordano's for some deep dish, and saw Wicked (which I highly recommend). It is the untold story of the "wicked" witch of the west. After the play we went to the Cheesecake factory for a few extra pounds. 
Saturday we did a little shopping, however Jason had me on a very restricted budget. Half of us returned Saturday afternoon to a much calmer Michigan. Great trip - must do again sometime soon!
