The Steensma Christmas celebration happened to be on aunt Sue's birthday, so we decided to help her turn 40. We met at Spring Lake High School where I entertained Eve and Elise while everybody else decorated our cars for a 40th birthday parade.
We lined up on Sue and Dave's street, and honked our horns until they came out. Then we paraded in circles in front of their house making as much of a spectacle of ourselves as possible.
Darren and Cheri had their engagement pictures taken earlier that day, so they arrived looking very suave. The rest of the party was usual fare for a Steensma Christmas - children,
presents,
and tons of fun.
