This past weekend we really got down to business. Along with some inside housework, we finally finished the front landscaping with the flat slate rocks that we bought several months ago.
Jason put in a lawnmowing border on this part as well (the other side is cut off by our sidewalk and driveway). I think it looks great and will look even better when the ground cover grows a bit. We have all perennials and bushes (plus a few bulbs) in the front for easy maintenance in the future. Our foliage all flowers and blooms at different times which is great because there is usually some color in the front from spring until winter!
