Recently there is a new trend in our house. Jason is becoming more attached to our bunny Cassidy.
Many people will say, "You have a pet bunny? Do you keep it indoors?" Bunnies are actually really great pets. They don't need much and are easy to keep happy with little attention. Initially Jason wanted nothing to do with her, wanting her to live outdoors, in the basement etc etc . . . I tried to argue her case b/c although she is not nearly as friendly as a dog, she does show affection with sniffing and licking and she is very nice to pet b/c her fur is so soft.
Until lately Jason would ignore her and her antics. However as of recently (perhaps b/c of his more frequent time in the office, which is a.k.a. Cassidy's room) they have developed a bond of sorts. It's quite cute actually.
We're just a little happy family now: Jason, Melissa and Cassidy.
